Homemade burger with low glycemic index

Fast food contains a large dose of carbohydrates, which quickly enter the blood and cause a high flow of energy and euphoria. So, yes, we just feel happy. I found a recipe for a homemade burger on the hyperinsulin website – which won’t have a high glycemic index, high blood glucose output and little salt – but will also make us happy and satisfy our cravings for unhealthy things.

Here’s the recipe:

  • Whole grain bun – will increase the proportion of protein, reduce the glycemic index. Cut the bun in half and toast it in the oven to make it crispy
  • Grind beef or grind it yourself, season with a pinch of salt, pepper, you can add garlic. Form cutlets and fry without fat on a grill pan, or bake in the oven on baking paper.
  • Sauce, of course, homemade: Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, granulated garlic, ketchup and a little mayonnaise mixed together.
  • Spread the bun with the sauce
  • Add lots of vegetables: slices of tomato, onion, cucumber, white cabbage, lettuce. We can still put the vegetables additionally next to the burger.
  • We put the chop,
  • Vegetables again
  • The second piece of bread roll smeared with sauce.

Of course, the sauce and vegetables are prepared before baking the roll and cutlet.
Instead of potato French fries, if one must, they can be made with root vegetables: carrots, parsley, celery cut into posts mixed with oil, herbs, paprika and a pinch of salt and baked in the oven.

Enjoy. I enjoyed my burger.
