We spend our vacations at my dear mother-in-law’s house in the Karkonosze Mountains near Kamienna Góra. From here it’s a stone’s throw to the border and Pec pod Snezkou from where you can take a chairlift to the top of Snezka, close to Karpacz and the beautiful Samotnia. In short, a beautiful piece of Polish land. To the east are the Table Mountains, and there is Szczeliniec, one of the most picturesque places I have seen.
But today I local. I repeated the route I walked yesterday with the wonderful Monika and Tom. I have to mention that about three months ago I took it upon myself to march about 5 kilometers on average three times a week in the Kabaty Forest. From march to march the hiking time got shorter and shorter. So the seasoning I got.
Today I took off for the Six Roads route. Dexcom G6 at the start oscillated around 145 mg/dl. This Warsaw dressing has caused me to no longer have such steep drops during exercise.
I passed the village and entered the forest. Here lasted half of the hike. Who wants to believe it not, but outside the village I did not meet anyone on the route. In my head I only had Tom’s words from yesterday that when he was training for a run there one time a big boar crossed his path. I regretted a little that I didn’t take my dog for a walk. But oh well, onward 😊
Yesterday we picked berries and raspberries so the walk took more than two hours. Today I just hiked and the route took me 01:37:19. The distance covered was 8.63 km. At the finish line, sugar 92 mg/dl.
I’m posting some photos from this picturesque corner of Poland. When abroad? Someday 😊
